    Sekhet Bast Ra represents Sekhet, the goddess of Magick, taking on the form and/or attributes of Bast, the Goddess of Sex & Sex Magick, as well as Generation. Sekhet Bast works on the plane of Ra, or Solar plane thereby becoming Sekhet Bast Ra. 

    In the Book of the Dead, Sekhet Bast Ra is described as Mut-with wings, breasts, phallus, including the claws of a lion, the head of a man, the double crown of Egypt, with the heads of a lion and vulture, both having two plumes. In creating the Sekhet Bast Ra logo we have foregone the plumes and substituted a beard for the phallus, but incorporating breasts.  This image represents the divine combination of male and female.

    Sekhet Bast Ra is dedicated to the law of Thelema and promulgates that law by helping and encouraging those working towards their True Will, regardless of their affiliation or non-affiliation with Thelema and O.T.O. Sekhet Bast Ra's thelemic force is on the forefront of a magickal movement in Oklahoma.  By becoming more involved in our community we believe we can promote peace, tolerance, and truth.

Sekhet Bast Ra celebrates and encourages light, life, love, and liberty by performing the Gnostic Mass regularly, as well as providing a variety of classes, workshops, and discussion groups on various subjects at our temple and online.
